Style Icons - Vanessa Hudgens.

Vanessa Hudgens, in my opinion, always, always gets it right.

Its that time of the month! For this Style Icons post, I've decided to do something different. Because I love Vanessa's style so much, I thought  instead of grouping her outfits according to similarities, I would talk about individual looks of hers that are my personal favorites. I have been buzzing to write this post all month, but had to wait as Style Icons usually appears in the last week of the month. So please, enjoy one of  my favorite Style Icons to date.

I have to find out where Vanessa got this jumpsuit. It is absolutely gorgeous and can be easily dressed up or down. Wear a baggy blazer like Vanessa and it instantly makes it an outfit suitable for a night out in town. I'm going to assume from the cuffs poking out of the end of the blazer that is a long sleeved jumpsuit, so you can dress it down with a dark pair of ankle boots, a shopper and your hair up. I must admit I'm not a massive fan of the heels she's wearing but I still love the outfit. A dark lipstick is also a must.

How cute does she look here? High waisted maxi skirts are definitely in this summer and if you have an amazing stomach like Vanessa then showing off your midriff by wearing a crop top isn't even a choice. I love this crop top because of the cool netting pattern and the big billowy skirt just adds to the appeal. I am also seriously digging the wedges. She keeps this outfit simple with minimal jewelry.

When I saw this dress on a Dailymail article a few month back, I went on a desperate online search in a bid to find this dress or at least something similar but to no avail *sad face* I love it so much and it pretty much compliments itself; the pattern is gorgeous as are the cutouts and wedges. The plait hairstyle is fab and so are her sunglasses. I must admit, I am really loving Vanessa Hudgens 2013 style, she never really used to catch my eye before.

Vanessa looks unbelievably chic in this outfit. The flower pattern on the gathered skirt is simple and the length is modest. High neck crop tops are again, another must this summer. She carried on with the simple tone by wearing a pair of plain white flats and pulling her hair into a high ponytail.

Again with the high waisted maxi skirt and crop top, except this is much more casual. I love that this one is floor length and the frills on the sleeves are super cute. Statement jewelry completes any bohemian and Vanessa's shark tooth necklace is clearly unique.

This dress is hot hot hot! It makes Vanessa look like a greek goddess. That pattern is so elaborate that you literally need  nothing but a pair of earrings and maybe the odd ring with this dress. The heels are classic and simple and the hair braid is an awesome idea especially if your hair is ombre or dip-dyed.

This is one of Vanessa more casual/relaxed looks; a pair of loose jeans with a vest top and an open denim top. It looks amazingly stylish for something so simple thanks to the hat and colour block heels

And here are a few outfits I just couldn't leave out!

Well thats that! Time to create my own Vanessa Hudgens inspired look! Now, being the stalker I am, I know that Vanessa shops at this awesome bohemian shop Planet Blue, so I've gone to have a little look over there!

Dress, Planet Blue, Bag, Planet Blue, Shoes, Planet Blue, 1st ring, Topshop, 2nd ring, Topshop, Necklace, Black Pearl

Planet Blue is a little bit pricey (who am I kidding, I could never buy anything from there) but I still love all of there items. How was everybody's day? Mine was alright apart from the fact that my Twitter isn't working!! I haven't been able to check it all day! Getting full-blown withdrawal symptoms!

Style Icon's are my most popular posts (if you couldn't already tell from the sidebar!) so be sure to check out the others in the series:

I own none of the above pictures, copyright to all original authors.

Chocolate Chip Baked Chessecake.

I haven't baked in a long time and I can't wait to find just a little bit of time to spend in the kitchen. I was going through the pictures on my laptop and found these pictures I had taken almost two months ago of this baked cheesecake I made. For someone who had never baked a baked cheesecake before, I like to think it turned out pretty well (saying that, I did slightly burn the bottom). This, much like the banana cake I made, is a cake you either love or hate. It's got a crazy texture to it but is best served with a side of cherries  and a cup of tea. Before I forget, I hit over 2000 pageviews this week! Thank you soo soo soo much to everyone who has clicked on a post, left a comment and followed!

Collective Haul : Boots, H&M and more.

I am very excited. Very excited. Why? I've just been shopping and bought a heck load. In fact, its the most I've ever bought for myself thanks to my birthday presents this year which mostly consisted of giftcards and money hidden in cards. I waited until I had all of them all in hand and then yesterday, I went off to Westfield in Stratford. So, sit down, grab a cup of tea and enjoy my massive haul which consists of Boots, Topshop, Forever 21 and a load more.

Topshop nails in Parma Violet

Topshop nails in Peaches and Cream

Ohhhh how I love Topshop nail polishes. They are very quickly becoming my favorite polish and slowly becoming an obsession as I now own five. Click here to see my other two shades I have from the collection. They both have really good reviews and I cannot wait to try them out!

My biggest spend was in Boots. I was like a kid in a candy store who hadn't eaten candy for over a year.

Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask

Garnier Pure Active gentle deep clean cream wash

Nivea pure and natural soothing day cream

Nivea facial cleansing wipes

Origins Super spot remover

I was in definite need of a whole new skin care regime as the one I was using before wasn't even really a regime. And now I have most of things I need to start one. So, the Origins Drink Up mask. People all over the blogsphere and Youtube have been raving about Origins so I thought, after much deliberation, I'd give them a try. I have very dry skin on my face and I also breakout with spots which is a pain so I thought I'd try the overnight mask for dehydrated skin. I have only used it for one night so far so will give updated progress on that in about 6 - 8 weeks. Oh and it is quite pricey. I hesitated for a while before I picked it up but I am happy I did. The Garnier face wash was on sale so I thought I'd pick it up and with the words gentle and creamy, I was convinced rather easily. The Nivea pure and natural face cream is exactly what I need so I'm very excited to try that out as for the fragrance free face wipes. The Origins super spot remover is once again, another product I had heard much about so I bought it and I am very glad I did. I've only used it for one day and the changes are very visible. So thats Boots done! There will updates on the products soon.

Citrus Zest and Grapefruit candle

My cousin, in what I assume was a mad dash to Wilkinsons, bought me a £10 Next giftcard. I never shop in Next so I had no idea what she would expected me to buy with it. Luckily, I had my wonderful friend Masite on hand who suggested I browse through the home section which I thought was a great idea. I found these two candles; Fresh Linen and Citrus Zest and Grapefruit. I honestly wish you could smell the scent through the pictures. They smell amazing and I cannot, cannot, cannot wait to burn them. I couldn't find the link for the Fresh Linen online but it was £3.50.

Cream Foil Lace Skater Skirt

Taking these pictures was difficult. It was late afternoon running into evening and I had to work quickly with whatever natural lighting I had. I would have worn the items and had one of my sisters take the pictures for me, except, there was no one in the house. What also doesn't help is that I have the crappiest little digital camera known to man kind where I can not even change so much as the ISO setting. *Sigh*. Moving on this jumper and skirt are both from the current sale that Topshop is having! My sister bought the awesome slightly dipped hem jumper for £18 and the skirt is now £15 from £38. The jumper feels amazing. It is perfect for the upcoming season as the wool is sooo soft. I couldn't find the link online so I 'm not sure if they are still selling it. I looove the colour and the texture of the skirt and it sits quite high on the waist so I would just call it high waisted!

Chiffon Blouse

Chiffon Top

Both of these gorgeous tops are from H&M's new A/W 13 collection and I love them both to death. I wanted the chiffon blouse to be quite baggy so I decided to go a size up. Its the perfect blouse to wear over skinny blue jeans with a pair of black heels; a very quick casual/dressy outfit. I love the sleeveless chiffon top mainly because of the long fringes that hang off of the front of the top. There is a small opening at the back but I think that just adds more to the appeal. I tired this top on with the skirt and they look perfect together. I can't wait to wear them out!
Floral Print Skinny Pants

These beautiful trousers were purchased from the sale rack in Forever 21 . When I picked them up, the label said it had been reduced from £18.75 to £13.99 and I thought it was a perfect find. But when I got to the check out, I found out it was reduced even more to £6.99! I love the pattern and the bold black lining across the waist of the trouser. It also has pockets! This is another one I can't wait to wear.

USA Pro Bra Top

USA Pro Three Quarter Leggings

USA Pro Yoga Mat

In a last bid to try and get fit, I went off to Sports Direct to buy some gear that would help get me motivated. My first find was this awesome padded sports bra that had a fantastic £8.00 off. I already have a few sports bras but padded ones are a must have. I also loove the shade of purple. I then bought the three quarter length leggings, although they are a bit longer than quarter length which was only £10. It was actually more than 50% off as the original price was £25. Bargain. They are super comfortable and they make your bum look great! Carrying on with the USA Pro theme, I went for this yoga mat which was half price. It is well needed as when I stretch, I often do it on the cold hard floor.

So that was my haul! I tried my bestest to post this on Friday, if you follow me on twitter, you would now hahahaha, but I'm glad I finally have it up. Taking and editing pictures was a pain but it was worth it in the end. I am now completely and utterly broke! So I probably will not have a haul in any nearby future. If you want to find any of these products then just press the names of the item below the picture. I hope you enjoyed this post! Have you tired or worn any of these products before?
