Carrot Cake Bliss.

My mum found this gorgeous cake book on sale for five pounds and bought it instantly knowing that I would love it. And love it I do. It has just over one hundred delicious recipes from 'Everyday Cakes' to 'Posh' along with witty little paragraphs from the author Kate Shirazi . This is the first cake I've baked out of it and I was literally gobsmacked when I brought it out of the oven; the chances of me backing a cake and it tasting as good as this one are slim. It was easy to bake and my family loved every bite of it. I cannot wait to bake more out of this book!

Style Icons - Krysten Ritter

Krysten Ritter is stunning. Her simple beautiful features make me think of her as a modern Audrey Hepburn. Not only is she a fantastic actress but having seen one or two of her interviews, she is also absolutely hilarious.

In photoshoots, she is always paired with beautiful vintage pieces that suit her glorious body shape; look at those curves!  

Always wearing minimal make up, her everyday outfits despite being so casual, still make her look so chic, unique and glamorous  And how cute is her fringe?

Happiness is a great place to find.

I enjoy living in London, because of the many beautiful places there is to visit; one of my favorites being Greenwich Market. A short bus ride from where I live, I don't visit as often as I would like, but during the Easter holidays, I was free so called up a friend and made plans to go. Although I had visited Greenwich Market a number of times, I found that there were dozens of little shops I hadn't popped into (as I am always around the stalls) such as Beadoir Jewellery . It was the cutest little shop I have ever been inside! Hundreds of homemade pieces of jewelry, unique drawer knobs and gorgeous beaded chandeliers. I had to buy something so picked up an adorable homemade hair grip. I loved this little boutique and will definitely visit again.

I was so hungry by the end of our little trip but found it literally impossible, to pick something out of the yummy goodies that were on sale. I was extremely tempted to buy myself a giant slice of Carrot Cake but settled for this caramel chocolate flapjack which was fantastic. I love Greenwich Market

Never have a bad day.

Whilst in Central London on Saturday morning hunting for work experience placements, it occurred to me that I had not visited the Paperchase Heaven on Tottenham Court Road for quite a number of months. It being one of my favorite stationery shops, I hopped on a number 24 bus and made my way merrily down there. Once inside I tried to contain my excitement reminding myself that I only had £5 in my purse, and was forbidden from touching my debit card (saving up for a Canon!). It was difficult, but I finally found something within my price range and that I was willing to buy. never have a bad day ever again by Max Wigram and Murray Partridge. The cute little pink book is full of simple pleasures in life that bring a smile to your face and a warmth to your stomach. I love it and I will savour as many of them as I can.
