This Summer, I'm leaving my comfort zone.

As you may or may not know, I have officially began my summer holidays and I have a lot of big things planned for this summer and most of them are a loonggggg way away from my comfort zone. Everyone has a comfort zone. A circle that sometimes limits what you will and won't do and one that sometimes expands it. I'd like to think that I have a large comfort zone but in all honesty? I don't. In September, I will be going to sixth form to start my A-levels and I am just a tiny bit nervous because I am terrible at meeting new people and socialising. Just the thought of going to a party where I only know the birthday girl and one other person makes me want to throw up. So  thinking about how I'm going to sit down in a class of thirty brand new faces and actually talk - the idea doesn't sit well with me. This is one of the reasons why I've decided to put on a brave face and start to do things that I usually would never do.

Some of the things I'm going to do are small steps like getting my eyebrows threaded and tinted or learning how to wear contact lenses. Others  are huge steps like going camping with a bunch of people I don't know (more on that later) and applying for a job. But the whole point is to become a bolder version of me so that I can overcome hurdles such as meeting new people or speaking up in front of a new class. At the moment, I'm a ball of excitement and with fear because a lot of things are happening way faster than I first anticipated but overall I'm ecstatic to start because "life begins at the end of your comfort zone".

I will hopefully be blogging all about the activities that I get up to in the summer so that I can take you all along with me!
